For self-motivated learners who know how to organize their time and see tasks through to completion, the virtual school option may be a good fit.

Parents of students taking virtual courses must be prepared to take an active role in monitoring their child’s progress, and committing to a schedule of monthly calls with the virtual teachers in order to review academic progress.

Students must achieve adequate weekly progress in all classes in order to continue as a full-time virtual school student.

Offered through MyDistrict Virtual School, students take part in a fully accredited learning experience guided by highly-qualified, Florida certified teachers.
