A group of Hamilton County K–2 teachers, along with Principal Kathy Griffin, attended a UFLI Foundations reading training in Orlando this past weekend, from February 13–15, 2026.
UFLI is a research-based approach to early reading that helps students build strong skills in phonics, decoding, fluency, and comprehension through clear, structured instruction. The training provided teachers with strategies they can bring directly back to the classroom to support student reading success.
