Welcome to the Hamilton County School
District's home in cyberspace! We appreciate your interest in our
school system and hope you will find useful information within these
pages. Hamilton County is a small, rural area located in North
Central Florida. The school system serves approximately 2000
students in grades Pre-K through Adult. There are five schools and
three special facilities in our district, and our work force totals 320
full-time and part-time employees.
Our district is committed to providing the best educational experiences
for our students, and our mission of "Changing Lives Through Quality
Education" is being accomplished through a number of outstanding
programs and classes. We offer several innovative programs not
usually found in smaller districts such as ours, and we are excited about
the opportunities they provide to our students.
We will continue to utilize effective
strategies to help our students succeed. Numerous resources,
including this web site, are available to parents, community members, and
other interested individuals. The site contains links to most of our
schools, and we anticipate the inclusion of other district-related sites
in the future.

will provide details on the latest changes to the district site.
